Our Media Sales Academy 2020 class is underway! Hear from MSA student Abigail Gordon on her passion, goals for her future and why she’s interested in joining the media sales industry.
Why do you want to work in media sales?
The reason I am interested in Media Sales is the creativity involved with it. My passion in life is people and making sure everyone is satisfied and media sales gives me the ability to be creative in the industry and help people accomplish there goals.
What do you hope to gain by participating in the Media Sales Academy?
The media sales academy has already provided me with such great skills in the industry. I hope in the future conferences I attend I will be able to meet with more great companies and gain more skills that will help me advance after I graduate and find the perfect job!
Tell us a little about what you are studying and your extracurricular activities in school.
I am currently studying Business Administration with a focus on sales at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. At school I am an on the executive team for my Collegiate DECA chapter and help lead and organize our state conference. When I am not in school I usually work with a local tech start-up company as a supervisor of the customer support office.
